Shirley's Bay and Greenbelt

I'm usually pretty reliable; at least I think so. But I sort of botched this outing and lost valuable shooting time. The story is that a good friend invited me out to take some photos in Western Ottawa. We'd been to this general area many times. The directions I was emailed were very clear. But when the day came, I relied on memory and parked where we usually meet at Shirley's Bay. I should have re-read the email to realize that, this time, we were were to meet nearby in the Greenbelt, South of Rifle Rd. I took some photos at Shirley's Bay as I waited for my friend. When I finally figured out that I was in the wrong place, I was very late for the outing. Thankfully, I did manage to find my friend on the trails, and we enjoyed an abbreviated outing together in the Greenbelt. What little I saw of this part of the Greenbelt looked very interesting and it deserves a return visit. Next time though, I'll triple-check that I go to the right place!
