Lac Ramsay and Trail 56
Each year, the photo club to which I belong hold a friendly competition called the Fall Challenge. A date and venue are chosen, and participants photograph as much or as little as they like there. Afterwards, they submit eight photographs for scoring by their peers in the club. This year we returned to a popular site: Lac Ramsay and Trail 56 in Gatineau Park. About 20 or so people participated. A few arrived to greet the dawn, but most, like myself, came a little later. I stayed until mid afternoon, by which time most of the club members had left. The Fall Challenge is timed to coincide with peak Fall colour. It's an especially magical time to be walking the trails with a camera. I had a great time, and it was wonderful to finally see some of the other club members again.
