Downtown Ottawa

I enjoy Winter, but by the time March rolls around I've had enough and look forward to Spring. Thankfully, March also brings some periods of Spring-like warmth. During one such period, with mid-teen (Celsius) temperatures, a friend and I went for a photo outing. I suggested that we explore downtown Ottawa as we had a few years earlier. It was a beautiful day that brought many people out to enjoy the warmth. We set out walking through the commercial district to Parliament Hill. From there, past the Rideau Canal and the Chateau Laurier hotel, to the Market area. We passed by the National Gallery and went as far as the Interprovincial Bridge. Then we retraced our steps back to where we started. What could be better - a good friend, a beautiful day, and a camera in my hand!
