Limerick Forest
A good friend organized a small outing to Limerick Forest. There are several parts to the forest. The part we visited features an Interpretive Centre and is near Oxford Station, about 45 minutes South of Ottawa. I've been to this part of the forest many times and the trail network is like visiting an old friend. This particular outing was especially welcome because I hadn't visited the forest since the start of the pandemic. As with many of my recent outings, I photographed using both visible and infrared light. I was particularly keen to see how some familiar areas would appear in infrared light. I could easily spend the whole day photographing at Limerick Forest. But the plan for the day was for everyone to meet for a late lunch in nearby Kemptville. That was a great way to end a fantastic day exploring the forest with my cameras.
