Ottawa River

I took a new camera and lens for a test walk along the Ottawa River. Beginning near Tunney's Pasture, I walked past Remic Rapids, as far as Lemieux Island, and then retraced my steps. As I did so, I was mainly concentrating on the gear, but I still managed to find a few interesting subjects for photographs. The new gear opens up new capabilities that I didn't have before. But as with all new things, there's a learning curve, and muscle memory that needs to be retrained. This will take some time. But even so, I thought this first outing was quite successful.
