Upper Canada Village

Upper Canada Village depicts life in a rural English Canadian village circa 1866. Located near Morrisburg, Ontario, the village contains over forty historical buildings. Included are a functioning sawmill, farms, trades workshops, and a variety of homes. Reenactors dressed in replica costumes populate the village and perform activities of the period. Visiting the village has become an annual event for a friend and myself. We picked a beautiful sunny day with mild temperatures. Arriving shortly after the grounds opened, we spent the entire day exploring and left just before closing.
