I've driven through Havelock, Ontario many times on my way to somewhere else. Usually, I've been in a hurry to get to my destination, and sometimes the weather has been crummy. But invariably I've thought: "I'd like to stop sometime and take some photos of this place". Because Havelock has a rail yard with a tourist stop that's right beside the highway. It's just begging to be photographed.
Well, on my way home from Lindsay, I decided that now was the time. The weather was beautiful, I wasn't pressed for time, and I needed to make a pit stop anyway. So I spent a little while walking back and forth along the edge of the rail yard with my camera trying to capture the essence of the place. I managed to find a few abstract compositions as well.
