Bruce Pit

The photo club's first outing to Bruce Pit was such a success that a second outing was held a week later. But what a difference a week makes! This time around we had cold rain and snow flurries. Despite that, six of us plus the organizer came. I brought a friend who had missed the first outing. For the most part, we traveled as a group. This is because the organizer took us through some of the secondary trails. I for one quickly became disoriented with all the twists and turns. We would stop and photograph at one site and then another. Before long we ended up back on the main trail where I regained my bearings. After a while, most of the group decided to call it a day. My friend and I kept at it however and completed the main trail loop. Afterward, we took advantage of a nearby restaurant for a well-deserved hot lunch.
