CAPA is the Canadian Association for Photographic Art. I'm a member and the RA Photo Club to which I belong is a member club. This year CAPA created a photo walk event that they hope will become an annual activity. On September 20, affiliated members and clubs were invited to walk and take photos of their local communities. The Urban Group of the RA Photo Club organized the walk for our members. The walk started on Parliament Hill and ended up in the Byward Market where many of use gathered for lunch. After lunch, I continued on my own, around the Rideau Canal and down Sparks street. It turned out to be a beautiful day for a walk. I chose to take my photographs using 720 nm infrared using only my 28-400 mm f/4-8 lens.
