University of Ottawa

Architectural Photography is a genre that I've not done a lot of but I have a great interest to do more. It was thus with enthusiasm that I joined an outing to the University of Ottawa where this was the theme. The outing was organized by the Urban Group of the RA Photo Club. The University offers rich architectural variety that suited this outing well. I went with the intention to photograph for black and white. Hoping for some clear skies, I elected to use a 720 nm infrared filter, which makes such skies dark. Unfortunately, the day was mostly overcast, although the sky cleared after lunch.
